Who We Are
The Prop Shop is a family-owned and operated welding and fabrication business proudly located in Hare Bay, Newfoundland.
Founded by Wilfred and Brenda Hounsell, the business was built on a foundation of hard work, honesty, and hands-on expertise — values that remain at the heart of everything we do today.
In 2006, their son Steven joined the family business, bringing fresh energy and a shared commitment to quality craftsmanship. His skill and dedication have helped the shop grow and evolve, while keeping the same family values it was built on.
What began as a small local operation has grown into a trusted name in metal fabrication and marine repair — known for precision, reliability, and pride in every job we do.
